South Dakota Paratrooper Killed In Afghanistan

A paratrooper from South Dakota has died from wounds he received in an explosion in Afghanistan.

The military says say 23-year-old Corporal Tanner O'Leary died Sunday in Afghanistan. He was fatally wounded by an improvised bomb.

O'Leary served in the Army's 82nd Airborne Division of Fort Bragg.

His family says he grew up on a ranch and is survived by a young daughter.
