A record breaking day of temperatures in eastern Carolina Wednesday saw people flocking to the beach.
Along the Crystal Coast in Carteret County people spent the day strolling in the sand, bodyboarding, walking the dog, fishing, even taking in a little surfing.
Besides the surf, the golf course is also heating up during a traditionally cool month. Brandywine Bay Golf Course sales are up six percent this month, thanks to mother nature.
While the air temperature has been warm the water temperature is pretty cool...only in the 50's.
