Thief With Big Smoking Habit Targets Store

Goldsboro police are looking for a man with a big smoking habit -- he stole more than $4,000 worth of cigarettes on two visits to the same store.

Police say the man came into the Walgreens on Wayne Memorial Drive last month. He walked behind the counter where they were stocking cigarettes and pushed the store's cart out the door. That cart had dozens of cartons of cigarettes on it.

Then last Monday police say the same man came back and walked out with three more cartons.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Goldsboro Police Department at (919) 580-4217 or Crime Stoppers at (919) 735-2255.

The pharmacy is the same Walgreens that was held up Monday night by three men who are still on the run.
