The 7th Annual Down East Boat Show has come to an end this evening, and officials are calling it a slow success.
Visitors, boat buyers, and more gathered at the Senator Bob Martin Agriculture Center for the third and final day of the boat show, put on by Pitt Community College. The event raises money for a number of activities and scholarships at the college, and officials say the dollars raised here can really go a long way for a lot of students.
In total officials, say nearly 3,000 people attended this years show. WITN 7 was again a very proud sponsor of the event.
