A Wilson man said he was just trying to be nice by letting a man inside his apartment to use the bathroom, just before two Monday morning.
Twenty-five-year-old Steven Haskins said that was when the stranger pulled out a gun and demanded money. Police say a small child and other family members in the apartment on Garner Street slept through the crime. They are searching for a suspect.
