You are never too young to make a difference. A group of kids in Lenoir County certainly proved that true! The entire student body at Southwood Elementary School in Kinston raised nearly $900 in just a week! They are sending the money to help the Asian tsunami victims.
While many kids donated a dollar or two, some went above and beyond the call, breaking into their piggy banks for the effort. To date, Lenoir County residents have raised about $20,000 in tsunami relief money.
