Coping With Winter Heating Costs

New Bern resident Helen Diaz says she usually wears a big coat or stays indoors. Tuesday though, she was putting up Christmas decorations in her yard with her husband. Officials with the Craven County department of social services say they do offer some heating assistance for seniors. To be considered, you must fill out an application.
