Family Of Innocent Victims Question Police High-Speed Chase

Police and town officials in Franklinton are reviewing tapes of 911 calls connected to a high-speed police chase that led to the deaths of three people.

The two bystanders killed were sisters, and their family is questioning why the officer continued the chase when it was clear the driver he was pursuing wasn't going to stop.

The erratic driver, 38-year-old Guy Christopher Ayscue, also was killed when he crossed the center line on U.S. 15 and slammed into a Kia driven by 18-year-old Linsay Erin Lunsford. Her 9-year-old sister, Maggie Rose, also was in the car.
