Ft. Bragg Soldier Dies In Iraq

A soldier based at Fort Bragg has been killed in Iraq.

The military confirms that 24-year-old Army Specialist Matthew
K. Reece of Harrison, Arkansas, died Saturday from wounds suffered
when his vehicle was struck by a roadside bomb in Baghdad.

Reece was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute
Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division
at Fort Bragg. He joined the Army in 2005 and arrived at the 82nd
Airborne the following year.

The military says Reece is survived by his wife, two children
and his parents. A memorial service will be held in Iraq.
