Tsunami Relief Efforts

The people recovering from the devastating Asian tsunami still need our help.

That's why the folks at the Salvation Army are raising money at the Twin Rivers Mall in New Bern. In exchange for a flower and lighting a candle to remember the tsunami victims, people are asked to donate whatever they can to the Salvation Army's collection effort.

To date, the Craven and Pamlico County chapter of the Salvation Army has donated more than $14,000 to tsunami relief efforts.
