USO Looking for Desserts This Thanksgiving

They are the few, the proud, the marines, and this Thanksgiving, folks in Jacksonville again need your help to feed them more than a few good pies.

The USO is getting ready once again to feed troops a home cooked meal at the community's home away from home. And, while they have plenty of turkey and all the fixins, volunteers want to finish off that meal with some home-baked desserts, for 2,000 troops! Which is why they hope folks will bake something extra, and drop it off at the USO on Wednesday, before that big Thursday meal.

And, when volunteers finish serving that meal, they'll decorate for Christmas, and do it all over again for troops who can't make it home in December.
