It's called "Kicks for Kids," and it's an opportunity to give less fortunate children a brand new pair of shoes.
Once again, the New Bern Breakfast Rotary Club went to a local shoe store this year, Athlete's Foot, and purchased well over 100 pairs of shoes for kids in need.
Rotary officials say for many of these children, it's the first time they've ever had new shoes.
