Heather Lynn Roberts, the Kinston teenager, who along with her grandmother Gail Haddock Dail, have been missing since December 7, turned sixteen Friday. A special celebration was held in Kinston Friday night to mark her birthday. The pair were in route to visit relatives in Virginia but never arrived, and their disappearance has been deemed suspicious by authorities. A safe return is still hoped for by everyone who knows the two. Just this week, nearly 60,000 flyers were put in the mail to help locate Heather and her grandmother.
