ECU and Duke students host senior citizens for an evening of health education, food and entertainment.
More than 100 senior citizens are expected Friday for “An Evening for the Young at Heart” hosted by seven Brody School of Medicine students and a Duke University School of Nursing student as part of the North Carolina Schweitzer Fellows Program.
The event, which is at capacity, will allow senior citizens to get information about health and recreational services and educational and volunteer opportunities in Pitt and surrounding counties from 4 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Jarvis Memorial United Methodist Church.
