The recent rash of crime in the city of Greenville has business owners asking for answers.
It's seems like there's a robbery happening every other day in Greenville and police say there is an increase in armed robberies so they're addressing it. Thursday morning, the Greenville-Pitt Chamber of Commerce held a crime safety meeting at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist church for business owners. They listened to Greenville's police Chief William Anderson explain the increase of crime and how they're putting every officer on the road to patrol the toughest areas of the city.
Chief Anderson says they arrested several individuals in connection with crimes. Currently, 29 suspects are still behind bars.
