A Greenville lawyer has been named Pitt County Clerk of Court, after the retirement of Eleanor Farr.
Sara Beth Rhodes was named clerk Thursday by Senior Resident Superior Court Judge Russell Duke.
Rhodes obtained her law degree from Wake Forest and has practiced law in Pitt County since 1991. She'll be sworn in Monday morning.
Farr, who served as Clerk since December 1999 announced her retirement this week.
