Beaufort County Teen Dies in Car Accident
A Beaufort County teenager is dead after crossing the center line and slamming into an oncoming car.
State Highway Patrol says late Saturday night, 17-year-old Clay Reid Lilley of Washington swerved to avoid a dead deer on Market Street Extension in Washington, hit another car, ran off the road and landed in a ditch where he died on the scene.
Officials say the other driver was treated for minor injuries and released.
