A school bus accident has sent one person to a Charlotte hospital with what fire officials say could be life-threatening injuries.
Two students headed for Northridge Middle School in north Charlotte were also hurt, suffering minor bumps and bruises in the Wednesday morning accident.
The accident involving a Charlotte-Mecklenburg school bus and a
minivan happened shortly before 7 a.m. Firefighters had to free the
minivan's driver from the wreckage, and Charlotte fire Captain Rob
Brisley said the victim was taken to a hospital with "potentially life-threatening injuries."
