Dare County has become a hot place to say "I Do" in recent years.
This weekend's Outer Banks Wedding Association Expo saw attendance triple over last year. About a thousand people from all over the East coast came to shop around for photographers, cake makers, and venues for their nuptials.
Some newly engaged couples we talked to found the one stop shopping a helpful event, especially planning an Outer Banks wedding from out of state. Event Coordinator Eric Haus says the most popular time to get married on the Outer Banks is now September and October, followed by May and June.
