Homeowner Shoots & Kills Robber
One person was killed in a Wilson shooting Tuesday, where police say a homeowner shot a robber.
Gene Watson told police he was trying to keep 49-year-old Elbert Lee Taylor from breaking into his home on Herring Drive Tuesday morning when he pulled the trigger.
Authorities say no charges will be filed.
