Less than one week remains for parents to comment on the new redistricting plans in Pitt County Schools.
Pitt County Schools recently released plans on which students will attend Ridgewood Elementary in Winterville when it opens next fall. The plans also include proposals on how to reduce overcrowding at A.G. Cox Middle School in Winterville.
Pitt County Schools only scheduled a two-week comment period on the proposed redistricting, which included Thanksgiving.
