Patrol cars poured into the Carteret County Sheriffs Department Monday. In the backseat: Suspected drug dealers.
The Sheriffs department and undercover drug deputies were out knocking on doors before six AM. It's part of what they call operation no tolerance. By two o'clock this afternoon, the booking room and the holding cells of the jail were packed. Nineteen suspected dealers were brought in. The suspected drug dealers are charged with selling everything from marijuana to cocaine to prescription medication.
The roundup is part of a several month long investigation. The last roundup called operation no boundaries, took over thirty drug dealers off the streets in a multi county operation.
