Nags Head unveiled its new veterans monument this morning. It's a tribute to those who put their life on the line to protect our liberty and way of life.
The stone obelisk features the crests of our armed forces. It was drawn up by a local veterans committee.
The idea came from citizens concern over the years that the town had no veterans memorial.
