A passenger bus collided with a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer rig driven by a North Carolina man in Arkansas, killing three people.
Arkansas State Police say the bus was traveling on Interstate 40 about 10 o'clock last night when it veered across the median.
Police spokesman Bill Sadler says the bus slammed into the oncoming
pickup, then the 18-wheeler slammed into the bus.
The pickup driver and two people on the bus died.
Tractor-trailer driver David Rice of Mars Hill, NC and the bus driver suffered minor injuries.
Police haven't said how many others were hurt. Sadler says a bus
manifest listed 44 passengers and a driver headed from Chicago to
