A new business could be moving into the old Greenville Rubbermaid facility.

A deed registered December 30 in Pitt County indicates PVG Properties of Fairfield, Iowa, purchased the facility and 46 acres of property for $3,000,000.

It's believed an Iowa brush manufacturing family has bought the plant with plans to restart operations.

When Rubbermaid closed last year, it eliminated 300 jobs.
