What's the financial forecast for our region and beyond in 2005?
Federal Reserve economist Ray Owens spoke about that to a delegation of business leaders and other invited guests at the New Bern Convention Center Thursday. Owens said numbers show consumers are spending, people are investing and there's a renewed confidence in business.
Eastern North Carolina has been plagued by job loss, but Owens believes a turnaround is expected for the New Year.
