'Tis the season for Christmas parades here in Eastern Carolina. but, one area town dares to be different.
The Town Of Belhaven in eastern Beaufort County has their parade to usher in the Christmas season at night.
It's an opportunity for locals and visitors to view trucks, cars, floats and even horses and riders festooned with lights. There's even a contest for the best float.
This year, the NO O-L-F Float won first prize as best float.
Most people cheered as the homemade jet decorated with lights made its way along the parade route.
