New Bern Police Name Murder Suspects

The New Bern Police Department is still searching for two men. Curtis Bell and Jonquay Styron used to be wanted for questioning in a November 10th murder. Now, police say, the two are their prime murder suspects.

24 year old Clarence Marbel the III was shot to death at Craven Terrace Housing Complex on November 10. No one has seen Bell or Styron since then.

Bell, also known as "Sanka," is 25 years old. He has outstanding warrants for Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury in Pamlico County.

Styron, also known as “Hood,” is 18 years old. He also has outstanding warrants for Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in New Bern.

New Bern Police ask anyone with information about these suspects or the crime to call (252) 228-1145 or Craven County Crime Stoppers at 633-5141. There are rewards of up to $1,000 for anyone with information leading to the arrest of the suspects. Callers may remain anonymous.
