It's another major boost for East Carolina University athletics. Myles and Jennie Cartrette are giving $750,000 to the ECU Educational Foundation. The two are residents of Greenville and graduates of East Carolina. Of that money, $250,000 will go to the new baseball stadium, with the rest for scholarship endowments and athletic facility enhancements for the Pirates Olympic sports program. The news comes just one day after it was announced the Clark family of Greenville donated more than a million dollars for the baseball stadium.
