Students Get a First Hand Look at America's Military Might

Dozens of young students at South Greenville Elementary school got a special treat Wednesday afternoon. An AH64 Apache Attack helicopter from the North Carolina National Guard landed in an open lot right beside of their school.

A member of the 1-130 Attack Helicopter Battalion talked about the job they provide to keep our nation safe. The crew recently returned from an 18-month deployment in Afghanistan and will visit schools throughout the state while they await their next mission.
