T’was the week before Christmas and all through the East, folks teamed up in good will and peace.
Friday morning at Greenville Toyota, a group of officials and leaders from the Greenville-Pitt County area met up to assemble bikes for the fourth year in a row. The bikes and many televisions were donated by Greenville Toyota and 13 area Kentucky Fried Chicken locations.
Craig Goess, the owner of Greenville Toyota, says charitable events like this one are truly the reason for the season. All together, 50 bikes, more than 100 televisions, and several truckloads of toys will be distributed to children across the area who are less fortunate.
