Pentagon Suggest You Send Text Messages To Soldiers For Thanksgiving

The Pentagon is asking us to text message soldiers as part of our Thanksgiving remembrances this year.

It's part of the "Giving Thanks" Initiative from the Department of Defense.

The major cell phone carriers are on board with the plan, too. But, the text messages won't actually show up on a phone overseas.

The messages will be relayed into a military computer that service members can then access.
