The fight on crime in Greenville has just gone high tech.
The Greenville police department unveiled its new wheels Friday and they're a bit smaller than usual -- that's because they're on electric scooters.
Officials plan to demo the two scooters for the next 30 days throughout Greenville. Lieutenant Earl Phipps says the scooters will allow law enforcement to better serve the community.
The scooters are electric so they help the department save on gas and fight crime at the same time.
