Kinston lawmen resumed their search Friday for Kinston residents Gail Haddock-Dail and her 15-year-old granddaughter Heather Roberts.
With the use of a North Carolina Highway Patrol helicopter, authorities spent Friday searching all water areas along Highway 55, outside of the Kinston city limits. Kinston Public Safety officer Woody Spencer says this aerial search will help pinpoint areas they would like to search with cadaver dogs.
Co-workers of Haddock-Dail at Lenoir Memorial Hospital held a short prayer vigil for the two Friday evening.
