Local Blues Musician Dies

Eastern Carolina has lost a master blues musician. Richard 'Big Boy' Henry died in his hometown of Beaufort at the age of 83.

Henry died Sunday after several years of declining health. The singer, composer, and guitar player won several prestigious awards.

Henry is survived by his wife and ten of his 12 children.
