It's been three years, but apparently worth the wait. The port in Morehead City is getting nearly $1,000,000 to repair its crane-rail system.
It's the first time since 2001 the ports authority has been put on the state's repairs and renovations list. Money was also slated for repairs to a berth at the port in Wilmington.
