Two Greenville police officers have been cleared of any criminal wrongdoing in the shooting of a man they say tried to run them over with his car.

The Greenville Police department says the two officers were responding to a domestic violence call when Demtrius Draughn resisted arrest and got into his vehicle. They say the officers fired at him when he tried to run them over.

The Pitt County District Attorney and the State Bureau of Investigation conducted separate investigations.
