If you appreciate fine art or just love to see pretty works then the Beaufort County Arts Council has your ticket to cultural paradise at the 40th Annual Fine Arts Show.

Artists gathered their goods and put them on display in the city of Washington Sunday hoping for a cash prize. The 40th annual event which runs from Sunday to October 30, features local artists who specialize in oils, graphics, watercolors, acrylics, three-dimensional pieces and photography and more.

The show is free and open to the public. You can check out some of the work on exhibition at the Washington Civic Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through the 30th of October.
