The N.C. Marine Fisheries Commission begins a three-day meeting in Ocracoke Wednesday. The regular business meeting begins with a public comment period. The meeting lasts through Friday.

The public comment period is Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Community Center in Ocracoke.

The N.C. Marine Fisheries Commission will look at preferred management options for the oyster, hard clam, kingfish and inter-jurisdictional fishery management plans.
