While many of us have paused to remember veterans, others continue the work everyday to help members of the military who are disabled, forgotten or in need.
One of those is Vietnam vet Michael Coleman. His home in Jacksonville is literally in shambles. After the war, Coleman spent much of his time caring for his ailing wife, even as his war injuries worsened. As his life changed so did his home, it literally fell apart. Since Coleman is practically immobile, he is unable repair his home.
A few Marines and other good Samaritans at Camp Lejeune are working to help Coleman right now, but they are in need of building supplies.
