The city of Greenville wasn't to be outdone by some of its brother and sister cities across Eastern Carolina. The county seat of Pitt County had its own holiday parade that got underway at 10 a.m. Saturday morning down Evans Street and Tenth Street. Fans lined the streets as float after float passed them by, some, of course, tossing candy to the little ones hoping to catch a glimpse of Old Saint Nic, who was in attendance taking wishes from children all morning long.
