Wilson police are still looking into the death of a Barton College professor. Police say an autopsy was performed on 49 year old Paula Patterson Saturday morning, and report that there were no signs of trauma that would indicate foul play. However, the investigation will remain pending until evidence examined by the State Bureau of Investigation is returned and toxicology reports are received. Police found Patterson dead at her home on Nash Street after she had not been heard from for several days.
