Authorities Say 'Bluetooth Bandits' Involved In 8 Robberies

Authorities are asking the public for help in finding suspected bank robbers who've been dubbed the "Bluetooth Bandits."

The FBI says the two or three men have robbed eight banks in the
Greensboro area since last year.

In two of the robberies, one suspect was seen wearing a Bluetooth wireless device and was believed to be communicating with cohorts.

Robberies date back to July 19, 2006, at Patrick Henry National Bank. The FBI says the latest robbery was Oct. 25 at SunTrust Bank.

Authorities are offering up to $20,000 for information leading to arrests and convictions.
