East Carolina University has scheduled a 3 p.m. press conference Friday at the Murphy Center on campus regarding the search for a new head football coach. It's expected Skip Holtz will be named the Pirates new head coach.
Holtz spent five years at the helm of the UConn Huskies and most recently as an assistant coach at the University of South Carolina under his father Lou Holtz.
