Ballot Question Confronts Voters

In addition to the many candidates you'll be voting on this Election Day, you'll also be voting on a proposal known as Amendment One.

It's a statewide constitutional amendment that, if passed, would give state and local governments the power to finance community economic development projects without seeking the approval of taxpayers first.

Supporters of this amendment say it will help communities by fostering economic development. Those against it say it would give the government a blank check to spend taxpayers' money.

How do you feel about amendment one? Let us know by taking our online poll.
