Drunk Driving Demonstration Says It All

We gave you a look at what it's like to get behind the wheel after you've been drinking.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol set up a drunk driving course at our Washington studio. Then, Brent Baker went through it wearing what's known as "Fatal Vision" goggles.

One set of goggles simulates what it's like to drive with a blood alcohol level of .08, the state's legal limit. Another pair simulated driving at more than double the legal limit.

Brent had a tough time making it through the course. The Highway Patrol uses the fatal vision goggles to educate high school students about the dangers of drinking and driving.
