Its only about a day old, but already hunters are really getting into the deer hunting season for guns.
WITN went to Overton's in Greenville Sunday, and saw many outdoorsmen getting their gear into tip top shape. There were also people shopping for the proper camouflauge and orange safety clothing as well. Deer season for guns officially started Saturday, and manager's at the store say its really taking off for people of all ages.
Because of the popularity of hunting here in Eastern Carolina, Overton's is having a First Annual Biggest Buck Competion, with cash prizes going to the winner.
