Ride With the Voice Helps the Deaf

It was thunder road dowm much of the highways in Pitt County Saturday morning, and all of it for those who couldn't hear it.

But for those of us who could hear it, it was called "Ride with the Voice", and it was a fundraiser for the Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf in Wilson. The voice was that of the pirates, Jeff Charles, who helped organize Saturday's ride and charity. All types of bikers were out, including our own Brian Meador with WITN 7 sports. But according to Jeff Charles, the goal was really for kids at the school.

This was the first ever "Ride with the Voice", but officials say there will be more of these in the future.
