After months of having two vacancies on the Hyde County Chamber of Commerce Board, two new directors have been named. The executive director of the Hyde County Chamber told WITN Sunday 197 members elected Linda Mayo, who is also the director of the Hyde County Health Department, as well as Jane Gibbs, a Hyde County business owner. The vacancies came after Wanda Berry, and Martha Garrish left their posts earlier this year. Of the 15 member board five elected positions are rotated every year. The two new directors will take their positions the first of January.
