Raleigh based import-export firm Longisitics and the Global Transpark have agreed to work together once again. After signing a lease with the GTP, Longisitcs will now serve as the Global Transpark's new foreign trade zone operator. This comes after Longistics withdrew a $15,000,000 lawsuit against the transpark when talks between the two broke down over the summer. African flowers will be imported and AIDS drugs to Africa exported. Once the operation is up and running, it's expected to bring hundreds of jobs to Lenoir County.
